Conference Information
The 24th edition of CAPITAL CONNECTION, hosted by ACG Toronto, returns on November 9th & 10th. As the longest running national conference serving the mid-market Private Equity and M&A industry in Canada, we look forward to welcoming industry colleagues from across North America.
The conference provides a series of events over two days — focused on dealmaking, thought leadership and networking.

Karen Fisman, Managing Director - PriceWaterhouseCoopers
Karen Fisman is a Managing Director with PwC Corporate Finance in the Toronto office, leading Private Equity coverage for the Canadian team.
Karen has a strong network of US and Canadian mid-market focused Private Equity relationships with whom she maintains regular contact, ensuring she understands their current investment theses and strategies. Prior to joining PwC, Karen was a Director at an independent North American investment bank, where she initiated and built a successful Private Equity coverage program.
Joseph Lo, Partner - Sagard Private Equity Canada
Joseph is a Partner at Sagard, a multi-strategy alternative asset management firm active in venture capital, private equity, private credit and real estate. Jo is responsible for originating, structuring, investing and portfolio management. He is a member of the Sagard Private Equity Canada investment committee and leads SPEC’s Toronto office.
Prior to joining Sagard, Jo was a Partner in PwC’s Value Creation practice. In this role, he worked with corporate, private equity and portfolio company clients through all stages of the investment lifecycle. Previously, Jo served as a sponsor-backed CEO in healthcare and multi-site consumer retail. Earlier, he was an executive at BCE, where he spent a decade in various operating roles. Jo began his career at Kearney where he advised clients on matters of strategy and operations.
